More liquids in hand luggage

From 31st January passengers are allowed to carry more liquids in their hand luggage. This is what is intended by the new, relaxed EU regulations. Further relaxations are then to be introduced gradually.

EU loosens ban on mobile phones and laptops

“For safety reasons“, was always the answer to why electronic devices have only been permitted limited use on board air crafts in the past. The EU are now loosening the restrictions however, so that mobile phones and laptops will no longer need to be turned off during take-off and landing.

Lufthansa frequent flyer wins trial versus the airline

Lufthansa terminated the membership of a frequent flyer from their ‘Miles & More’ programme for reselling an award-mile ticket. The airline recently lost its second appeal in court.
