Switzerland plays a more important role in air traffic

Switzerland has more passengers in its three national airports, eleven regional airports and 44 airfields. This fact alone makes this small Alpine country a key player in air traffic. Also, the three largest airports, Zurich, Basle and Geneva, are clocking up a record number of passengers. Thus, Switzerland is playing a more important role.

Airports of the world: Adler/Sochi Airport

The Adler/Sochi airport, opened in 1956, is located in the Adler district of the Russian city of Sochi. With around 1.5 million passengers per year, it is one of the ten biggest airports in Russia.
