British Airways Awards Major Contract to Airbus

According to media reports, British Airways apparently wishes to purchase about 20 type A350-1000 airplanes from the European aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. The airline usually orders its long-haul aircraft from the competitor, Boeing.

British Airways expands its range of flights

British Airways is expanding its portfolio of flights within the British Isles: as of December 9 2012, passengers will be able to fly from London Heathrow to the Isle of Man, and the existing flight schedule to Belfast will be increased for the winter.
